Typhoon Tracking Map

This map shows the entire track of Typhoon Tembin so far, along with it's projected path.  The current model shows Taiwan as taking the brunt of it all.

There's something called the Fujiwhara effect, which explains the interaction between two "cyclonic vortices".  It's the reason Tembin didn't make landfall in Hong Kong, but is being pulled by the more powerful Bolaven to come back east and then north.

Ishigaki is no longer in the projected path of Tembin, but does have some weather advisories.
